Authorities say the woman pulled from a burning Cedar Rapids condo last week may be the victim of a homicide.
The state medical examiner’s report indicates 62-year-old Robyn Furmanski may have suffered a “traumatic injury” before the fire. The fire was reported in the early morning hours of March 31st. Furmanski’s condo was engulfed in heavy flames when fire fighters arrived. The other five units in the building sustained smoke damage.
No word yet on how the fire started.
