One of the victims in Omaha shooting is from Waterloo

April 18, 2016 By Matt Kelley

Crime Scene TapeThe two men killed in a shooting in Omaha Saturday night have been identified and one of them is from northeast Iowa.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. outside the ZAC Riders Motorcycle Club on Omaha’s north side. The victims are identified as 47-year-old Allen McReynolds of Waterloo and 52-year-old Victor Beatty of Omaha.

It’s unclear if the two men were involved in a shootout or if there’s a gunman on the loose. Omaha Police have asked for the public’s help in solving the case. ZAC Riders’ members have said the victims were not part of the club. McReynolds is originally from Alabama, but moved to Iowa and was working at the Tyson Foods plant in Waterloo.
