Teen going to prison after K2 death of another teen

GavelA Sioux City teenager has been sentenced to prison in connection with the 2015 drug related death of a Sioux City high school student. Eighteen-year-old Rose Mouw pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and delivery of a controlled substance.

As part of the plea agreement, Mouw was sentenced to 10 years in prison today. Mouw admitted to selling synthetic marijuana to Austin McCloud, who was a senior at West High School. McCloud died in April of 2015 after smoking the drug, which is also known as K-2.
