Just before 8 P.M. Friday, 32-year-old Jaime Mauldin of Anita was traveling southbound on Nevada Avenue, just north of 320th Avenue, when she lost control of the vehicle on the gravel roadway.
Mauldin went off the road left, into the east ditch, where the vehicle rolled and came to rest overturned.
When medics and law enforcement arrived, Mauldin was found to be dead on scene. The Iowa State Patrol responded, and was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenfield Police Department. The accident was about 3 miles southwest of Orient in Adair County.
