Kalona man identified as victim in fatal motorcycle accident

May 23, 2016 By Radio Iowa Contributor

AmbulanceAuthorities have released the name of the man who was been killed in a weekend motorcycle crash in eastern Iowa.

It involved the motorcycle and a minivan and took place a little after 7 Friday night near Kalona in Johnson County. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says the cyclist crossed the center line and collided with the van. Both vehicles caught on fire. An Iowa City woman and her three children in the van were unhurt.

The driver of the motorcycle, Kevin Miller of rural Kalona, died at the scene. The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the crash.
