Iowa State and Iowa rank in top 20 in attendance

basketball-9-It was another good season at the turnstiles for the Iowa State and Iowa basketball programs as both the Cyclones and Hawkeyes finished in the nation’s top 20 in average attendance.

Iowa State was 16th after averaging 14,270 fans at Hilton Coliseum. It was the third straight season and the fifth time in school history the Cyclones averaged better than 14,000 fans per game.

Iowa finished 19th in attendance. The Hawkeyes averaged 13,835 fans per home game.
