A 51-year-old Fort Dodge man was arrested Wednesday after an 18-month investigation of child pornography through a peer-to-peer network.
Leo Alen Dupree was charged with four counts of possession of child pornography.
The case dates back to January 8, 2015, when detectives with the Fort Dodge and Webster County Cyber Crimes Unit conducted an investigation into a case involving the possession of child pornography.
Through the investigation, a search warrant was conducted at a rural residence near Fort Dodge. During the search warrant, multiple computers and computer related items were seized.
Over the course of the investigation, the items seized were forensically examined by the Fort Dodge/Webster County Cyber Crimes Unit.
Dupree is being held in the Webster County Jail in Fort Dodge.
