Davenport police investigating shooting death of teen

Crime Scene TapeDavenport police are investigating a fatal shooting early Sunday morning in a north-central neighborhood.

Police responded to a shots-fired call there. A victim, 15-year-old Ayana Culbreath of Davenport, was found at the scene and taken to a Davenport hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound. Shortly after arriving there, she was pronounced dead.

Shell casings were located at the scene, and police are investigating.
