The Iowa State Fair’s world famous Butter Cow will have some company this year from the USS Enterprise.

Every year, sculptor Sarah Pratt carves a life-sized cow out of butter and another sculpture that accompanies the Butter Cow in the Agriculture Building.

Fair officials have revealed the additional sculpture will involve a tribute to the TV show Star Trek, which is marking its 50th anniversary this year.

Fairgoers who line up to see the Butter Cow will also see Captain Kirk, Spock, and other characters from the show, along with a buttery model of the starship USS Enterprise.

The Iowa State Fair is August 11-21 in Des Moines.
