Another abduction attempt reported in northeast Iowa

Police-car-back-300x224At least three attempted abductions are under investigation in northeast Iowa.

The latest incident was reported Thursday night in Shell Rock. The Butler County Sheriff’s office received a report of a man who attempted to abduct and 8-year-old boy near the town’s post office.

The boy was able to fight off the man, described as white, about six feet tall, and wearing all black clothing. He was driving a white cargo van.

There have also been attempted abductions reported in Cedar Falls and near Dike in recent days.
