August 22, 2016 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Police car lightsA West Des Moines man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Saturday night near Lehigh in Webster County.

Reportedly, a westbound 2005 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck driven by 24-year-old Tanner Van Every of Gowrie failed to stop at the stop sign and collided into the driver’s side of a southbound 2007 Buick Lacrosse driven by 23-year-old Brett Neal of West Des Moines.

The two vehicles entered the southwest corner of the intersection. Neal was pronounced dead at the accident scene. The accident report stated that there were three small children in the Neal car. Van Every and the passengers in the Neal car were transported to a Fort Dodge hospital for treatment of their injuries and were later released.
