Powerball ticket sold in North Liberty is worth $1 million

October 6, 2016 By Matt Kelley

Iowa-LotterySomeone is holding a valuable lottery ticket purchased in eastern Iowa.

The Iowa Lottery says a Powerball ticket, sold at a Kum & Go convenience store in North Liberty, matched five numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing for a $1 million prize.

The ticket came within one number of claiming at least a share of Wednesday’s $80 million jackpot.

No tickets sold matched all six numbers, meaning the jackpot for Saturday’s drawing climbs to an estimated $91 million dollars.
