Two people are dead after a shooting in northeast Iowa.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed two people are dead after a shooting in Freeport, just east of Decorah, Sunday night. Authorities are releasing few details at this time since this is an active investigation but say there is no reason to believe the public is in any danger.
The Iowa Division of Criminal investigation is on the scene assisting with the investigation.
