Body found in Muscatine skate park

Crime Scene TapeMuscatine police are investigating the circumstances around a body that was found over the weekend.

A city of Muscatine employee found the body a little after 8 Saturday morning at a skate park. The gender, age and identity of the body were not immediately released pending notification of family members. Cops have not said if the cause of death was a homicide or accidental. But they say there is no threat to the public.
