school-bus-generic-picA school bus driver in northeast Iowa is facing charges following an accident this week. The Fayette County Sheriff’s office reports the crash happened Monday, just before 6 p.m.

A Valley Community School District bus rear-ended a car, driven by 25-year-old Krista Lane of Randalia, that was slowing down to make a turn. No one was injured in the crash.

The bus driver, 77-year-old Harold Hanson of Elgin, was charged with following too closely.
