police-car-lightsAuthorities in southwest Iowa are now releasing the name of the teenager who was killed in a weekend crash.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office reports 18-year-old Devon Lee McClain, of Elliott, died at the scene of the crash in the 1100 block of Timber Road.

The accident happened at around 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.

Authorities say McClain was traveling northbound on Timber Road when he lost control of the 1999 Chevy Tahoe he was driving, causing the vehicle to rollover into the east ditch.
