Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a young man in central Iowa over the weekend.
Ames police say two men in ski masks entered the apartment of 21-year-old Xavier Shepley early Saturday. Shepley was shot in the upper chest and later died. Investigators say it appears to have been a robbery.
No arrests have been made.
