December 26, 2017 By Radio Iowa Contributor

The names of mother and two children who died Thursday night in a fire at a north Davenport mobile home park have been released. Investigators say 23-year-old Kelsey Clain, 5-year-old Jayden Smead and 2-year-old Carson Smead died in the fire.

Two other children were critically injured and taken to University Hospitals in Iowa City. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Fire investigators say there were no working smoke detectors.
