Bohannon’s three pointer caps furious Iowa rally

February 10, 2019 By Todd Kimm

Jordan Bohannon

Jordan Bohannon’s three pointer with point-six seconds remaining capped a furious rally as 20th ranked Iowa beat Northwestern 80-79 in Carver-Hawkeye Arena, a game the Hawkeyes trailed by 15 points with just over four minutes remaining.

Bohannon’s winning shot came off an inbounds play in front of the Iowa bench with three seconds remaining.

“Coach called a really good set to get me free”, said Bohannon. “I knew if I got a really good screen on Tyler Cook I was going to be open. They got me the ball in perfect position and I took a dribble and was able to rise up.”

Tyler Cook led the Hawkeyes with 19 points and 11 rebounds as Iowa improves to 19-5 overall and 8-5 in the Big Ten.
