One person injured in shooting in Carroll

Several people are in custody after a shooting early this morning in Carroll.

Police Chief Brad Burke reports the incident occurred right around midnight in the 500 block of E. 18th Street. One male victim was transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital and later transferred to a Des Moines hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

More details will be released later today.
