The Northern Iowa Panthers did not get one of the top four seeds but the Panthers will open the One-double-A national playoffs at home this weekend against Montana State.UNI coach Mark Farley says it’s exciting and getting the game in the UNI-Dome was critical. Montana State needed a victory over its arch-rival to get into the field. He says if they beat Montana, they must be good. Farley says after a week off his team is geared up for the playoffs. He says he told the team when it left it doesn’t matter who they play or where, they have to get ready, and now they know who they have to prepare for. UNI finished the regular season 9-2.
