New security measures are in place at Clinton High School today, along with more uniformed police officers. An assault Wednesday morning between a truant student and two non-students began outside the school and ended in the lunchroom. Superintendent Dr. Randy Clegg says precautions are being taken to prevent a repeat.Four more police officers are being stationed at the high school before, during and after class. Dr. Clegg says they’ll be both inside and outside the building.A baseball bat and a knife were reportedly seized during yesterday’s scuffle. Two non-students were taken into custody: 21-year-old Nicole Lindle and 17-year-old Shawn Guidebeck. The condition and name of the victim are unavailable.
