Special Olympics Iowa will receive its largest single contribution in the history of the organization today. ShopKo, which operates stores throughout the Midwest, will present a check of nearly 200-thousand dollars to Special Olympics Iowa at today’s baseball game in Davenport between the Quad City River Bandits and the Dayton Dragons. Special Olympics Iowa president Rich Fellingham, says the contribution comes from ShopKo’s annual golf classic.There will be a check presentation during the ballgame.
