Flames swept through a livestock lot Sunday in north-central Iowa. The fire call from the Iowa Select Farm near Blairsburg came in around 3 p-m Sunday. Five fire departments responded from around Hamilton County. It’s unclear how many hogs were lost. The cause of the fire is also unknown. Strong, cold winds hampered fire-fighting efforts.
