A 16-year-old girl died in an unusual accident in southwest Iowa this morning. The Pottawattamie Sherriff’s office says the girl traveling on Highway 191 north of Neola when she met a semi that was carrying crushed cars. Some of the cars apparently fell off the truck and the girl ran into them.The girl was killed, and a teenage boy was seriously injured and flown by helicopter to an Omaha hospital. Their names have not been released.
