A man from the western Iowa town of Soldier has pleaded guilty to deer poaching charges. Willie Custer pleaded guilty to two counts of illegal possession of deer with fines and civil damages of 32-hundred dollars. His bows and arrows have been seized and he loses hunting rights for two years. Conservation officers say Custer killed three deer in one day in Harrison County and didn’t have valid deer licenses for two of the kills and didn’t tag the third.
