Boy dies after slipping under school bus

A northwest Iowa boy died on his way home from the year’s last day of school.The six-year-old Sioux City boy died yesterday afternoon after he slipped on the ice and fell under the wheels of a school bus. He’d just gotten off the bus when he fell under it as the bus pulled away from the curb. The child’s name hasn’t been released. He was in kindergarden at Crescent Park Elementary School. The bus driver’s name hasn’t been released either — though school officials say the driver is very distraught.
