SBA helping Hispanic Chamber to start in Iowa

The administrator of the U-S Small Business Administration was in Iowa Friday to sign a letter of intent for Iowa’s first Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Aida Alvarez says this is a big step for minorities and minority businesses in the state.She says the Hispanic Chamber should help grow the businesses on many levels.Alvarez also announced the first Hispanic business to win the S-B-A “Small Business Person of the Year.” That award goes to Midwest Printers of Sioux City.Alvarez says Midwest Printers got help from S-B-A loans.
