Anti-abortion protesters mark anniversary of Supreme Court decision

Anti-abortion protestors from across Iowa are marking the26th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision legalizing abortions. LarryBraheny (BRAY-henny) is Executive Director of Catholic Charities, based inDes Moines. He’s encouraging people in Iowa to light a so-called “candlefor life,” and place it in a prominent window. Thousands of candles havebeen handed out in Central Iowa. Church bells across the state have also been rung to highlight thedate. And lots of churches are holding special services.
