Two brothers charged in plot to make classmates ill

An alleged plot to make classmates ill has three Treynor, Iowa teens in trouble. Pottawattamie County Sheriff Jeff Danker says the two teenagers had hoped to place a container containing a material that would make people sick in a locker in their school. Danker doesn’t believe thekids got the idea for the chemical mixture after a Logan, Iowa woman who died from using a toxic combination of household cleaners to try clear adrain. The case has been transferred to the Pottawattamie county juvenile court. The boys are 15-year-old James Maddux and his 14-year-old brother, Matthew and their friend Phillip Allen, a 14-year-old.
