Cyclones in "Sweet 16"

For the first time in school history the Iowa State women are headed to the Sweet-16 after an 85-70 win over Oregon in Hilton Colesium in the second round of the NCAA tournament. The Cyclones advance to the mid-east semifinals and will play top-seeded U-Conn Saturday in Cincinatti. Ange Welle led the Cyclones in scoring with 21 points, Desiree Francis added 19 and Stacy Frese and Megan Taylor each had 12.
