Governor looks for help in storm cleanup

Governor Vilsack’s staff is looking for ways to help farmers who were hit bylast week’s tornadoes.Vilsack says it will be difficult for some farmers to get into their fieldsto prepare for planting because of the debris tossed across the countrysideby the tornadoes. Vilsack says he’s trying to find a way the state canprovide some “manpower” to clean up that debris. During his weekly newsconference, Vilsack praised Iowa communities for stepping forward to helptornado-struck neighbors and providing them some hope in the face of mothernature’s wrath.
