Governor welcomes Kosovars

Governor Vilsack is holding out hope Kosovars who’ve been forced from theirhomes will make Iowa their new home. The U.S. Government’s position is thatrefugees from Kosovo be returned to their native land.Vilsack has asked his staff to come up with a “welcome to Iowa” plan whichwould help refugees from any war-torn country, not just Kosovo.
