Former Iowan working in Albania

A former Radio Iowa reporter is on the job in the war zone. Former Radio Iowa reporter Tim Belay is in Albania, working for the Voice ofAmerica and on other freelance reporting assignments. Belay served in thePeace Corps for two years in Albania and he speaks Albanian. He was a UnitedNations election observer in Albania two years ago and four years ago spenta month in Albania conducting training sessions for Albanian journalists. Belay worked at K-B-U-R in Burlington prior to his Peace Corps stint andleft Radio Iowa in 1996 to take a job in Boston.
