ISU’s Runk makes all-academic team

Iowa State outfielder Aaron Runk has been named a GTE/Academic first-teamAll American. The junior says his work in the classroom and on the fieldhave paid off.Runk led the Cyclones in hitting with a four-15 average and also led theteam in runs and stolen bases despite missing the final 15 games of theseason with a dislocated shoulder. He says he will make a full recovery.Runk owns a 3.72 grade point average in finance.
