Harkin urges caution in Kosovo

Iowa Senator Tom Harkin says the United States needs to be wary of theintentions of Yugoslavian President Slobodan Milosevic in accepting a peaceagreement. He doesn’t dismiss the peace plan totally, but says he doesn’t trustMilosevic.Harkin says he doesn’t believe the Serb opposition calls for Milosevic’sresignation mean much.Harkin says the bombing should continue until it is certain the Yugoslavshave withdrawn their troops.
