ISU Athletic director says price increase indicates success

After a highly successful season on the court and in the stands Iowa Stateathletic director Gene Smith says he felt it was time to raise ticket pricesfor Cyclone womens’ basketball games. Prices will increase 20-percent fornext season but Smith says the six-dollar price still leaves I-S-U with thecheapest tickets in the Big-12.Smith says the increase will help raise more revenue while keeping the gamesaffordable.Last year the Cyclone womens’ basketball games drew an average attendance of57-hundred fans per game.
