Winnebago county residents pass sales tax

The constitutional amendments weren’t the only thing on the ballot Tuesday. In WinnebagoCounty a one-cent local option sales tax passed. The tax takes effect October first & is expected to give supervisors some630-thousand dollars in new revenue.
