Baseball poll leaders hang on

There was some movement, but not among the top spots in the latest RadioIowa/baseball coaches association poll. The top four teams remained the same in each class in the latest poll. Therewas movement in 4A where West Des Moines Valley remains number one, but IowaCity High moved from fourth to second, Marshaltown remained in third, SiouxCity East dropped from second to fourth and Burlington rounded out the topfive moving up from number 9. The top five stayed the same in class 3A.Davenport Assumption is number one followed by Perry, Knoxville, Oelwein andVinton-Shellsburg. Algona Garrigan remains on top of the final 2A-1A poll asstate tournament play gets underway this week. Osage, Carlisle, Panorama andCenter Point Urbana round out the top five. Iowa Valley holds onto the topspot in 1A followed by Lisbon, Lenox, Nora Springs-Rock Falls and Storm LakeSt. Marys.
