Harkin says health care debate continues

Partisan bickering is raging on the U-S Senate floor as debate continuesover health care reform. Iowa democrat Tom Harkin slams republicans forrepeatedly defeating measures he says would be good for America.Harkin says the republicans who hold the majority have rejected some basicprotections that are already provided to members of Congress.Harkin says many good health care proposals have been gutted or rejected,including changes to: breast cancer treatments, clinical trials and emergencyroom treatments.Harkin says patients are consumers and they want more power to make theirown decisions. He says republicans want to take that power away and give itto insurance companies.
