Reggie White starts Iowa Games with speech

The 1999 Iowa Games got their official start Friday night.Former National Football League all-pro Reggie White was the keynote speakerduring the opening ceremonies. White sent a message to parents, volunteers,and athletes asking for pressure free games for everyone.White says if America would ever change it’s philosophy about money, theworld would become a better place.More than two-thousand athletes were in attendance for the openingceremonies on Friday night. The start was delayed by 30 minutes due torain.
