Flood waters ran through many of the areas where bike riders will ride thiscoming week on RAGBRAI. The cross-Iowa bike ride coordinator, Jim Green,says the flooding won’t impact the ride. He says keeping everything going ispart of the tradition.Waverly was hit hard by flooding this past week and on Wednesday is supposedto host RAGBRAI. Green says the town will be ready.After months of planning for the event, Green says the flooding has seemedto make the RAGBRAI hosts dig in.Some 10- to 15-thousand riders are expected to participate in RAGBRAI.
