Final AD candidate visit UNI

The final candidate for the University of Northern Iowa Athletic Director’sjob was on campus in Cedar Falls today. Rick Hartzell is a 1974 graduate ofU-N-I. Hartzell was athletic director at Bucknell until resigning lastmonth. He says the panther program presents a challenge.After meeting with the coaches, Hartzell says improving the atmosphere willbe one of his priorities.Hartzel interviewed for the job the last time it was open 7 years ago. Hesays he’s more prepared this time around.The Klemme native was a baseball and football player while at U-N-I.Officials hope to make their selection from the four candidates by nextweek.
