Iowa quarterback Reiners says drinking is not a problem

Senior Randy Reiners is one of the candidates for the starting quarterbackjob at the University of Iowa this season. Reiners won’t be the starter forthe first game of the season though, he was suspended for that gamefollowing his arrest for public intoxication. Reiners says he doesn’t have adrinking problem and is ready to concentrate on football.Reiners says he has no trouble with the one-game suspension and believes thecoaching staff has treated him well. Reiners says the new offense should be good for his style of play. He says all the quarterbacks are helping each other, but says they all wantto be the starter. Reiners is a Fort Dodge native.
