UNI students have new way to plan future

The new “first year” students at the University of Northern Iowa have a newoption for planning their college careers. It’s called the “program ofstudy” and U-N-I associate registrar Patti Rust says it should help freshmenplot out their future. Students develop a plan outlining which classes they plan to take in whichsemester. Rust says students are not guaranteed the classes, but it’s more likely theywill get into the courses when they want.University of Northern Iowa students began the fall semester Monday.
