Cyclones look to erase bad Nebraska memories

Iowa State football coach Dan McCarney is fighting a cold, but that’s notthe biggest fight he has on his hands this week. McCarney takes his 3-1Cyclones on the road to face 4th-ranked Nebraska. The Cyclones’ last coupleof trips to Lincoln have been blowouts. McCarney says they were two of hisworst days in coaching.Iowa State had a week off after blowing a 21-point lead to Kansas State twoweeks ago. McCarney hopes his team learned something from the K-State game.McCarney says his team has improved from the two that were blown out on theroad at Nebraska. He says they need to be ready early to have a chance.
