Morningside receiver on record pace

Morningside closes out the season on Saturday at home against North Dakota State and Mustang receiver Mitch Allner is looking to close his career with a national record. The Sioux City native has caught a pass in 43-consecutive games and, with a catch on Saturday, would establish an N-C-A-A division two record. Morningside coach Dave Elliott.says they don’t have to find ways to get Allner open, he gets that done on his own.Elliott says the final game of the season is always emotional for the seniors because there is a sense of finality.Morningside is 3-7 on the season.
