November 29, 1999 By admin

The Iowa Department of Human Services is trying to head off more Y-2-K fears, some 33 days before the arrival of the year two-thousand. D-H-S spokesman Scott Kiefer says some people, like Medicaid recipients, fear computer crashes will effect their coverage. Kiefer says that’s not a big concern.Kiefer says people shouldn’t obsess about Y-2-K.For more Iowa preparedness information, surf to: www.state.ia.us/emergencymanagement/y2k.htm
