December 11, 1999 By admin

With winter now upon the state, Iowa golfers are forced to take their game indoors. Todd Isley, the golf pro at a course in Des Moines, says you can work on your game at indoor facilities around the state. Some of the facilites actually let you follow your shot for several hundred yards, while others have simulators which allow a golfer to practice their swing.Isley says serious competitors in Iowa should spend the winter healing, and practicing on the fundamentals of golf. There are just under a half dozen indoor practice facilities around the state. However, many golf stores have simulators to practice on.
