Man killed in accident at Dubuque John Deere works

An industrial accident at the John Deere Dubuque works has claimed the life of a southwest Wisconsin man. The man has been identifed as 48-year old Steve Schneider of Hazel Green, Wisconsin. Schneider was working the plant’s engine machining area when the accident happened, but the company says no other details are available. Schneider had worked at John Deere 28 years. Red Cross grief counselors are on hand to help workers deal with the death.
